The proportion of glass bottles in cosmetic packaging is less than 8%

At present,glass bottles have a great advantage in the field of high-end cosmetics packaging.Its transparency and finish are unmatched by plastic bottles.As most of the middle and low-end cosmetics packaging market has been replaced by plastic bottles,plastic bags or plastic tubes,the application rate of glass bottles is less than 8%.
Although glass bottles have made some progress in lightening,they are still bulkier than plastic containers.And because the raw material price and the production energy consumption are relatively high,the benefits of the production enterprises are generally low,which restricts the research and development of new technologies.The plastic bottles are light,inexpensive,and have excellent processing and printing properties,and they easily capture a share of the glass bottles in the cosmetics packaging market.
